TAG Development Group also works with specialized solutions for the construction and stabilization of tertiary roads, through our partnership and technology collaboration with Cipher.

These solutions are particularly suited to territories where soil conditions, distances to material sources, and transportation costs create significant challenges for road construction and maintenance.

ENZYMATIC SOIL STABILIZATION TECHNOLOGY

The system uses an enzymatic soil stabilization product, applied according to the geotechnical characteristics of each project.

The technology can be incorporated into the development of:

Subgrade → Subbase → Base → Wearing Surface

In certain soil conditions, particularly soils with high clay content, stabilization may help reduce dependence on large volumes of quarry-sourced materials, subject to the applicable soil studies, pavement design, and technical specifications.

This can create opportunities to reduce:

  • Material transportation

  • Haul distances

  • Logistics costs

  • Equipment mobilization

  • Construction time

  • Dependence on external material sources

Technology for Transforming Rural Connectivity

One of the major challenges of rural roads is that the cost of transporting construction materials can represent a significant portion of the overall intervention cost.

In remote, mountainous, or geographically challenging territories, every additional kilometer of transportation represents additional time, fuel, equipment, and resources.

Soil stabilization technologies seek to change this equation by technically utilizing available soils and optimizing the materials required to construct the road structure.

When terrain conditions and engineering design allow, this can translate into more efficient execution and reduced costs associated with logistics and transportation.

A SOLUTION DESIGNED FOR THE TERRITORY

A tertiary road is more than an infrastructure project.

It is a connection between:

Producers and markets.
Communities and essential services.
Rural areas and urban centers.
Territories and opportunities.

Adequate road infrastructure can facilitate the movement of agricultural products, reduce transportation times, improve access to services, and strengthen local economic activity.

At TAG, we therefore understand infrastructure as a tool for generating connectivity, productivity, and territorial development.
